Angelena Regina Pickering (Amato), born on July 14, 1975 in Bedford Heights, Ohio. Less then one month from her 49th Birthday, Angelene left the earth to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday June 16, 2024. Angelene fought the hardest battle with nothing comparable Rectal Colon & Carcinomatosis Cancer.

Angelene was the daughter of Denice (Apidone) Jacobs and James M. Amato. Angelene resided in Orange Township in Ashland, Ohio.

One of the deepest things to Angelene’s heart was her marriage to Travis C. L. Pickering whom were High School Sweethearts, married September 9, 1995. The marriage that Angelene and Travis shared for 29 plus years, was the most perfectly complete model that most who knew them, envied and looked to model. There were no sentences that started with “just Angelene” or “just Travis”. It was a known and common thread to hear Travis and Angelene all in one, when referring to either of them. Never one name alone. Even after 29 plus years of marriage, Angelene and Travis carried their love for each other like it was still deep High School love.

Angelene and Travis would do absolutely anything for each other, with no questions asked and without any doubt from anyone.

Angelene and Travis had one son, Travis C.L. Pickering II (Ashley N. Pickering) and two grandchildren, Bradley L. Danner (9) and Ella N. Pickering (8 months), whom she tried everything within her power to spend as much time as possible with. Spending time with her husband, son, daughter in law and grandchildren was what kept her battle with cancer at bay for the time she had it. Angelene’s deepest feelings to her heart were her marriage, son and grandchildren. Angelene’s love for all her family was undoubtedly the strongest possible by any person. Angelene was an undoubtedly devoted believer in being Christian, having faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
