ASHLAND — We are excited to announce that O’Bryan’s Pub, Ohio Fire, and Ashland-Wooster Drive-In are hosting the fith annual Charity Golf Outing to raise funds for
Safe Haven on Sunday, July 28 at Brookside Golf Course.
Proceeds will support free, confidential services for those impacted by domestic violence and/or sexual abuse in Ashland County.
In 2023, Safe Haven provided specialized support and services for more than 8,830 individuals across Ashland County with specialized support and services, including 40 adults and 25 of their children, with 3,878 days of safe shelter.
In addition, the program offered support, individualized safety planning, and resources to 180 individuals as well as outreach and prevention education to over 15,000 participants.
“We need your help to make this year’s event the best one yet,” said Rebecca Garcia of Safe Haven.
Here are some ways that you can support these life-saving services in our community.
- Join us on July 28th by registering your team of 4 for $350.
- Sponsor-a-Hole for $100 for your company name to be featured on a sign at one of the golf holes .
- Be a t-shirt sponsor for $150 for your company logo to be featured on our event t-shirts.
- Donate proximity prize(s), such as gift cards, with a suggested value of $25 each.
- Or any combination of the above.
See the attached registration form for more information on how to register your team, sponsor a hole and/or our t-shirts. We are requesting that your donation be received by July 14, 2024, for your business name to be included in the event materials.
This charity event will feature Food, Raffles, Prizes, Mega Tickets, Putting Contest, 50/50, and more. All proceeds support Safe Haven to help meet the needs of those survivors who come to the program in need of safety, support, and resources.
Your contribution will help Safe Havencontinue to operate the only domestic violence shelter and rape crisis center in Ashland County.
