Crestview graduate Jarek Ringler was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by Rumpke.

CLEVELAND – Recent Crestview High School graduate Jarek Ringler is one of the 2024 Rumpke Waste & Recycling Scholarship for Richland County winners.

This scholarship awards $1,000 to two graduates in Richland County, Ohio pursuing a two or four-year degree at an accredited institution, including vocational/trade schools.

Winners are chosen based on their commitment to their academics, environmental stewardship and desire to serve the community.

Jarek plans to attend North Central State College to study Mechanical Engineering. After completing his undergrad, Jerek aims to become a Mechanical Engineer.

“I chose this field to study [because of] my strong mathematical mind and interest in innovation,” Jarek wrote in his application essay. He wishes to pursue an internship and career in his hometown of Mansfield and assist his community.

“We’re proud to support future innovators like Jarek who will put the wellness of their community at the forefront,” said Rumpke Regional Vice President Dane Miller.
